Ever since we opened our farm gates we had one goal in mind: offering our guests a comfortable, affordable and all around exceptional Farm Stay Experience. Highland Hills Farm Stays covers every aspect of your stay: Great location, exceptional Vistas, Pristine Swimming holes, Highland Cow (coos) experience, Fresh water fishing for Bass &, Fresh Water Mullet. Bush Walks for every level of enthusiast. Stunning Native Wildlife as well as a herd (Rangle) of Deer introduced to our surrounds many years ago who now run untamed in the bush locally. And most importantly a slice of paradise to relax and unwind under our star filled sky

Unwind, Unplug & get back to basics whilst camping under the clearest of star filled skies. Enjoy the fresh air & getting back to nature. If camping is not quite your style & you enjoy the creature comforts we have glamping options available in our converted bus. It contains everything you love at home with plenty of room to suit families

We open our pride & joy to you our beautiful Farm for guided tours including meeting our beautiful well natured horses, Sheep & our Highland Cows (Coos) our absolute pride & joy. Which is extremely rare here in Australia but we are proud to introduce you to our Highland Fold

Home to the Highland Cows (coos)

Did you know:

They are the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world

They were originally black but now come in a variety of colours including; Brindle, Red, Yellow, Silver, Black & Dun

Their Eco friendly They are perfect for conservation grazing because they use their tongues to pull the grass so the vegetation is not left too short, and their dung fertilises the ground

The Queen herself has her own her (fold) of Coos & is rumoured to only eat their Meat

Their meat is lean, well marbled, has a fine texture, succulant flavour as well as being high in both protein & iron. Numerous tests have found their meat is lower in both fat & colesterol than even chicken!

They have the best temperments with even in the wilds of Scotland they will allow strangers to pat them

Our Highland Experience is the only one on the North Coast of NSW

Till only recently they were named on the endangered list & one of the hardest breeds to buy in Australia

CARAVAN & MOTOR HOME NON POWERED SITES
